Wine Alliance distribute exclusively imported wines from Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal and France and sell to the independent off-trade sector in Ireland, employing an innovative co-operative buying scheme.
The central strategy of the Wine Alliance business model lies in the sourcing of high price/quality ratio wines, then coordinating independent retailers in the collaborative purchasing, shipping and distribution of those wines. For member retailers, it allows for the direct importing of wines exclusive to the independent retail sector.
I live in Dublin and enjoy my wine. I really admire your business model. It is one great way to bring special smalle producer wines to people who otherwise would not get the opportunity. I love the co-operative approach and I assume that this involves your customers in your purchase decisions.
Great approach, if I have it right,
Conor
Hi Conor.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Yes, we involve everyone we can. Its all about bringing lovely well priced wines (made by some great people) to the good people of Ireland. We work closely with our independent wine retailers and their customers to bring some interesting wines that over-deliver at each price point. Thats what we are all about.
